Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa pada Pelajaran IPAS Kelas V MI Manar Al Ummat

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model on the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at MI Manar Al-Ummat. The study employs a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method and a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The sample consisted of 29 students, selected using the saturated sampling technique. A student learning motivation questionnaire served as the research instrument. Data analysis involved normality testing and hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample T-test. The results indicate that the mean student learning motivation score was 60.52 prior to the implementation of the inquiry learning model (pretest) and increased to 82.97 following its implementation (posttest). Normality test results showed that the data were normally distributed. The Paired Sample T-test yielded a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 (less than 0.05) and a t-value of -29.101; consequently, the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the inquiry learning model has a significant effect on the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at MI Manar Al-Ummat.
